Meet your guide in Catania and set off for Etna. Your first stop will be Mount Etna, where you'll discover its geology: eruptions and lava flows. You'll hike along quiet trails, away from the more crowded viewpoints, exploring dormant craters and volcanic formations and learning how successive eruptions have shaped the island. Admire the flora and fauna: endemic plants and hardy shrubs. You'll enter a spectacular lava cave with helmets and flashlights to observe the underground formations and discover Etna's hidden geology.
