For those visiting Dublin who would like to escape the busy city without having to travel too far, the charming seaside fishing village of Howth and its surroundings are a perfect option. Travel along Ireland's oldest rail line, the quaint DART system will transport us to what feels like a different world to the city centre in under 30 minutes, and of course, I will be very happy to point out a few of the points of interest and landmarks along the way.
