Experience a relaxing and creative Japanese cultural workshop in the beautiful Arashiyama area of Kyoto. In this hands-on Daruma painting experience, create your own original Japanese Daruma doll while learning about the meaning, history, and symbolism behind this traditional lucky charm.
Daruma dolls are symbols of perseverance, luck, goals, and new beginnings in Japanese culture. Traditionally, people make a wish while painting one eye, then paint the second eye once their wish comes true.
