يُعدّ نصب المسيح الملك، الواقع على قمة تلة الكوبيليتي، أحد أبرز رموز العقيدة الكاثوليكية في المكسيك. بدأ بناؤه في أربعينيات القرن الماضي لإحياء ذكرى التدين الديني للشعب المكسيكي، لا سيما في حقبة ما بعد الثورة وبعد حرب كريستيرو التي دافعت عن حرية العبادة. شُيّد التمثال، الذي يبلغ ارتفاعه ٢٠ مترًا، في قلب البلاد، ويُصوّر المسيح ملك السلام بذراعيه الممدودتين كشخصية حامية. كان هذا الموقع مقصدًا للحج، ويشهد على التاريخ الديني للبلاد.
