On this experience, we explore the region’s wine heritage, travelling through historic vineyards and visiting traditional wineries and cellars. Learn about the production of Bairrada sparkling wine, often referred to as the Portuguese answer to Champagne, and discover the unique traditions that have shaped this renowned wine region.
Depending on the availability on the day of your tour, we visit one of the region's traditional wineries and cellars. The wineries mentioned are examples of possible visits and are not guaranteed, as the final selection depends on availability and opening schedules on the day. After the wine tasting and visit, we return to the starting point in Coimbra.

On this experience, we explore the region’s wine heritage, travelling through historic vineyards and visiting traditional wineries and cellars. Learn about the production of Bairrada sparkling wine, often referred to as the Portuguese answer to Champagne, and discover the unique traditions that have shaped this renowned wine region.
