Your day begins with pickup from your hotel, station, or meeting point, followed by a scenic drive into the Kirishima mountains as the landscape gradually shifts into volcanic terrain and wide mountain views. You will arrive at Takachihogawara, the trailhead for Mount Takachiho-no-mine, where you can prepare before starting the hike. The trail climbs steadily through rugged terrain and open ridgelines, with changing views as you ascend, while your guide introduces scenic viewpoints and shares insights into the landscape and its cultural significance.
