Zaisan Hill Complex, situated in the southern part of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is a significant memorial honoring Soviet soldiers who fought in World War II. The centre is beautifully set on a mountainside and reached by crossing a small wooden bridge known as “the Bridge that Leads Beyond Wisdom.” The main temple is dedicated to Kalachakra philosophy (Wheel of Time) and features a Kalachakra mandala, a Shambhala thangka, and a gallery of 220 Buddhist philosophy paintings by artist Bayantsagaan.
