The experience begins at Cerritos Beach, where the Pacific Ocean rolls across a wide open coastline while surfboards rest on the sand beneath the desert mountains of Baja California Sur. Before entering the water, your instructor explains positioning, paddling, wave timing, and ocean awareness according to your experience level and the conditions of the day. Without the pace of a larger group, the lesson feels calmer and more flexible. There’s more time to repeat waves, adjust technique, and enjoy the rhythm of the Pacific while pelicans glide above the shoreline and waves continue breaking across the beach. Later, the pace slows during lunch near the beach, where the Baja atmosphere becomes part of the experience itself.
