On this 3.5hours small group walking tour, you'll walk between four main family-run stops, starting with a fireman's chorizo and a classic pork sandwich at a no-frills tavern, then on to savory pastries at Lisbon's longest-running Mozambican kitchen. A wall of street art turns a quiet Mouraria backstreet into an open-air gallery along the way, and inside a traditional fado house (live performance not included), steeped in Fado music history, you'll try a chilled seafood salad and a classic codfish dish with a glass of wine or beer. On our Secret Food Tour: Lisbon - Mouraria, you'll explore the city's historic centre and taste your way through places where Lisbon's food culture actually lives, made fresh, just the way Lisboetas have always done it. Enjoy dishes locals genuinely love, from Portuguese cheeses and tinned sardines treated as a proper delicacy, to a warm, garlicky bifana and a Pastel de Nata sprinkled with cinnamon, all paired with fine wines and local spirits.
