Discover two of Eastern Sicily’s most iconic destinations on a full-day Etna & Taormina tour designed for the whole family. Travel from the dramatic volcanic landscapes of Mount Etna to the timeless beauty of Taormina, combining nature, culture and breathtaking views in one unforgettable experience. Accompanied by expert guides, you will explore the Etna Park, admire surreal lava fields and extinct craters, and learn about the powerful forces that shaped this unique land. From Rifugio Sapienza, choose between a walk with a local passionate guide or the high-altitude option with cable car and 4x4 bus. Visit a lava cave and enjoy a tasting of local honey, olive oil and traditional products. The journey continues to Taormina, with stunning views of Isola Bella aboard our van, before enjoying free time to explore its charming streets, historic monuments, and elegant shops at your own pace.

This excursion includes an itinerary in stages to let you know and appreciate places of particular natural value within the reserve of the Etna Park up to an altitude of about 2000 meters. Thanks to the experience of our staff, aboard 4x4 vehicles you will live an interesting and fun experience at the same time. Starting from the lava flows that threatened entire villages, you will visit the extinct craters and the lookout of the majestic Valle del Bove. You will visit a lava flow cave (lava tube) equipped with a helmet and speleologist lights. The tour will end with a tasting of Sicilian specialties. IMPORTANT NOTES: our meeting point in Trecastagni a MontataGrande accessible by car. It is possible to request pick-up from Catania or other countries. Live a unique experience with our Etna Morning Tour. Our Guide will pick you up where agreed. the first stop will lead you to a visit to a lava flow cave with helmets and torches, 10 minutes stop in a bar. We will continue with a light trek lasting about 2 hours at an altitude of 2000 meters and in the Silvestri Craters area on the south side of the volcano, you will walk on a path characterized by ancient flows, ancient craters and breathtaking landscapes. The tour will end with a tasting of typical Sicilian products and a light lunch, where you can taste the flavors and food and wine tradition of our land. A moment of pleasure and relaxation before returning to Catania.
