Plittersdorf is a municipality in North Rhine-Westphalia, one of Germany's most populous states. Situated in the independent city of Bonn, Plittersdorf is known for its atmosperic location on the banks of the river Rhine, with a view over the Siebengebirge, sometimes known as the Seven Mountains. A stunning collection of more than forty volcanic hills, Siebengebirge lends Plittersdorf a remarkable panorama. Home to the German Museum, filled with artifacts from the country's past, a vast and important cemetary and being incredibly close to Beethoven's birthplace, Plittersdorf makes a lovely sojourn whilst in Germany.
